This drawing was done in 2016 using colour pencils. It shows a close-up of lips with strong lighting and glossy textures. I wanted to practice realism and explore how colour, shading, and highlights can show depth and shine. The image has both softness and boldness, with rich colours and a mix of smooth and rough textures. The pencils placed around the lips also remind the viewer that this is a hand-drawn piece, not a photo. It was a fun challenge to draw something that looks both realistic and expressive at the same time.
